Being Who You Are with Human Hair Wigs for Medical Hair Loss
The majority of us couldn’t believe the indestructible Nancy Dreskell, my high school BFF, could ever cover her head with lace front wigs. Her signature hair and fashion added so much to her mystique. Guess what? There’s no doubt “Lady Fabulous” will always be celebrated because of her impeccable looks. Not many in town even care that she lives confidently wearing human hair wigs. Keep it on the DL.
As youths finding our way in the hill country, we regularly had our picks of boys. Of course, until her women’s hair loss started acting up and her hair thinned spottily. I hinted about these lace front wigs. Even so she just shaved her head. Undeterred by her hair loss, she proudly never let you forget about her shaved head.
Attending the school’s rugby game, we flirted with the crowd until some kluts purposefully flung the orb (or whatever you call it) towards the fans. She went to grab it and her hat fell off, revealing her hair (or lack thereof). Like nothing happened, she hurled the thing with a tremendous heave back to the field. What’d I tell ya about her spunk?
That said, who can be invincible at all times? Not too long after we got together for a cookie baking marathon, when she very sincerely told me that she would rather do without hair as a statement. She dare not consider women’s medical wigs, despite the fact that she wanted her hair back. Suddenly she miss invincible stopped talking and asked that I shouldn’t concern myself with it. She really needed help.
I couldn’t drop it. The next morning, I IM’d with her about settling the wig issue. Eventually we arrived at an agreement: we’ll think of wigs as fashion, and we love fashion. One for me and one for her.
Not sure who was more flabbergasted by the options. She couldn’t believe that human hair wigs were very appealing for people, even superstars. These women’s wigs were exactly what she needed. As for me, arranged a comprehensively fresh ensemble to go with our wigs. Its become an inside joke, but you knew that already. Not long ago she gave me a photo of us in our wigs and thanked me for her dignified synthetic wig, and disclosed that it fosters a feminine mystique for many occasions. It’s encouraging to see her strut her stuff like never before. I love her so much!
